Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Rivalize ("Rivalize", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Rivalize website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, checking the agreement box at sign-up, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law.

You can create an account with an email and password or by connecting a third-party account such as Discord. You may also link Steam and FACEIT to import your match history and demos.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it current, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to connect any third-party account and to import any data through it.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

• upload demos, files, or content you do not have the right to use, or that infringe the rights of others;
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you;
• reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or circumvent any part of the Service or its rate limits and security measures;
• use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others, or to violate Valve, Steam, FACEIT, or Discord terms;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent.

We may investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, for any violation of these Terms.

You retain ownership of the demo files, match data, and other content you upload or import ("User Content"). You grant Rivalize a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, parse, analyze, and display your User Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service and providing features to you and your team.

You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the necessary rights to it. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

The Service uses automated parsing and artificial intelligence to generate statistics, coaching, scouting reports, and other insights. These outputs are provided for informational purposes only, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on insights produced by the Service.

Some features are offered on a paid basis. Paid plans are billed through our third-party payment processor, and by subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

We may change pricing or plan features on a prospective basis. We will give reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect.

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Rivalize or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, we reserve all rights in and to the Service.

Counter-Strike, CS2, Steam, FACEIT, Discord, and other third-party names and marks are the property of their respective owners. Rivalize is not endorsed by or affiliated with Valve, FACEIT, or Discord.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms such as Steam, Valve game servers, FACEIT, and Discord. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data or insights will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivalize and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rivalize from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rivalize is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
