Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy describes what data Rivalize collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Rivalize ("Rivalize", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). It applies to all users of the Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your username, email address, and password (stored in hashed form), or the profile information provided when you sign in with Discord.
  • Linked platform identifiers — when you connect Steam or FACEIT, we store identifiers such as your Steam ID, FACEIT player ID, nickname, avatar, and rank/elo, and any auth tokens needed to import your matches.
  • Game data — CS2 demo files you upload or that we import on your behalf, along with derived match statistics, rounds, and player performance data.
  • Payment information — when you subscribe, our payment processor handles your card details; we receive limited billing data such as subscription status and the last four digits of your card. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser and device information, and how you interact with the Service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used for authentication, security, and preferences.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including parsing demos and generating statistics, coaching, and scouting insights;
  • authenticate you and keep your account and our systems secure;
  • import your match history from connected platforms such as Steam and FACEIT;
  • process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
  • analyze usage to understand, improve, and develop the Service.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service), your consent (for example, when you connect a third-party account), our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Service), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service, including with:

  • service providers that host our infrastructure and database, process payments, send email, and provide analytics;
  • AI providers that process text and match data to generate insights, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms;
  • third-party game platforms (Steam, Valve, FACEIT, Discord) when you connect them or when we import your data at your request;
  • other members of a team you join, who may see shared demos and team statistics;
  • authorities or others where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information longer where required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can manage much of your information in your account settings, or contact us to exercise your rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service (for example, to keep you signed in) and to remember your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

13. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at support@rivalize.pro or through the Support and Feedback option inside the app.
